Three Iced Coffee Recipes That You’re Going to Love
There are probably only a handful of things that are better than a tall glass of Vietnamese iced coffee; like winning the lottery, getting complimented by your Má, and the smell of a fresh pot of pho. But enjoying a delicious cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese iced coffee) is definitely right up there.
If you’re like us and are OBSESSED with iced coffee, these three easy recipes are perfect for you, because they require minimal effort but guarantee maximum flavor. We use our canned Vietnamese iced coffees as the base for the recipes, and zhuzh them up with a couple of ngon (tasty) additions – although they’re pretty damn good on their own!
So snag SANG and get ready to elevate your iced coffee experience!
1. Creamy Caramel Latte
First up is this Creamy Caramel Latte, which combines strong black Vietnamese coffee, a splash of milk, and luscious caramel – feel free to make your own caramel sauce, we don’t do that, but we LOVE that journey for you!
Ingredients:
- SANG Straight Black with Vanilla
- Milk
- Caramel Sauce
Method:
- To make this decadent treat, start by pouring your SANG Straight Black into a glass (use as much or as little as you like, it all depends on how strong you want your coffee to be).
- Next, froth the milk using a handheld frother or whisk vigorously to create a creamy texture. You could also use cream here instead and make it even more luxurious.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk into your coffee, and top it off with a drizzle of caramel sauce, you could also add a sprinkle of cinnamon for an extra touch of indulgence – or just skip all this and try out Saigon Cinnamon Lattes instead!
2. Iced Mocha Delight
For those hot sultry summer days or whenever you're craving a refreshing drink, this Iced Mocha Delight is the perfect choice. For this recipe, we highly recommend you use our ready-to-drink cà phê sữa đá for extra flavor.
Ingredients:
- SANG Traditional or SANG Traditional with Oatmilk
- Chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream
Method:
- Start by filling a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour your SANG Vietnamese coffee over ice.
- Add a generous amount of chocolate syrup (we believe chocolate syrup should always be measured by the heart) and a touch of sweetener if desired, but you probably won’t need it because of the sweetened condensed milk in the coffee.
- Stir the mixture well, allowing the flavors to meld together, and for extra indulgence, top it off with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
This delightful iced mocha will certainly keep you cool during the hot summer days, and it’s also the perfect sweet treat to enjoy.
3. Hazelnut Vanilla Frappé
Finally, we have the Hazelnut Vanilla Frappé, a creamy and flavorful coffee drink that’ll delight you and have you craving for more. We recommend using SANG Straight Black because the strong coffee flavor goes really well with vanilla ice cream, and when blended together it becomes this ultra-delicious coffee/milkshake situation.
Ingredients:
- SANG Straight Black with Vanilla or SANG Traditional
- Milk
- Vanilla ice cream
- Hazelnut syrup
- Whipped cream
Method:
- Begin by pouring your desired SANG coffee into a blender, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a splash of milk, and a drizzle of hazelnut syrup.
- Blend the mixture until smooth and frothy.
- Pour the frappé into a tall glass and top it with whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed hazelnuts for an extra crunch.
This Hazelnut Vanilla Frappé is absolutely delish and the ultimate summer treat!
Whether it’s sweltering hot or snowing outside, we love our iced coffees here at SANG. But having the same drink every day can admittedly get a little boring… So, if you’re ever looking to up your iced coffee game, you should deff give these recipes a try.
While you can totally brew your own coffee, we opt to use SANG coffee because well, we’re kinda lazy (please don’t tell our Má).
